  17. <p>     The robbery was committed in broad daylight by a burglar
  18. who walked in through the front door. Of SCOTLAND YARD, no
  19. less. Embarrassed officials in London acknowledged last week
  20. that a young woman with a history of mental illness had
  21. wandered into the Yard's headquarters and ascended to the
  22. seventh floor, where a set of riot gear, including helmet and
  23. body armor, caught her eye. She liked the rig so much that she
  24. wore it home. Her horrified relatives returned the stolen gear
  25. to the bobbies, who vowed to review security procedures.
